Situated in the foothills of Mount Baw Baw, Mira Mira is a secluded country retreat and yet just 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, 6kms from the township of Neerim South and 14kms from Warragul.
The retreats are discreetly hidden from each other on 22 acres of undulating grass lands and bush, bordering directly on to State Forest. With three dams, a tree fern gully and numerous pockets of natural bush the property attracts native wildlife including wallabies, kangaroos and possums. It even has several resident wombats (Dozer, Dozer Jnr or Mini Me), Victor the wallaby and is visited by startling birdlife including kookaburras, cockatoos, and rosellas.
Each spring a family of ducks, now numbering twelve in 2009 and yet to be named, return to the property to prepare to increase their family numbers, under the watchful eyes of Shandar, the beautiful and noble Arabian horse retired to the property and his golden haired girlfriend Crystal.
